Patios and Pergolas

Patios and Pergolas are both excellent ways to both provide shade and generate power from solar

I realize I haven't organized things very well, as much of the information on Pergolas is under Carports and Shade structures

One of the main questions that people ask about Patios and Pergolas is about water resistance and weather proofness. I've already addressed this to some extent on the carports section as there are many types of pergolas that can also act as carports, but I thoughts I'd explicity address the issue here, where I've identified some vendors who seem to have a good solution, though I can't vouch for them as I have no personal experience with them, but I'll occasionally add them here as I become aware of them.

PV Dynamics

This is an australian company so I don't know about availability in the US market, but I like the look of their design. Currently seeking more information.

Infinity Rack

Has made a lot of progress, and I especially like their simplified ground mounts and offerings. Their website though, is kind of terrible. I've expressed to them that they need to have more video on their site to explain how it works. They say they've got it, but it still hasn't shown up. They say their installers have taken pictures, but those pics aren't very good or show how it makes it actually water proof. Any way, I like the look of their sunlounge residential pavillion.

This seem like a pretty good simple for building relatively simple pergolas, patios, or carports. It's from a place called OCDeals.com.
